PCC: Publications, Awards, Important Speaking Engagements

PCC welcomed nine candidates to the core training program: Monica Green, PhD, Marcella Haro, Sheridan Henderson, LMFT, Kerri Karlsen, LMFT, Inbar Palmor, LCSW, Chelsea Small, LMFT, Carla Weber, Heike Zagermann and Mona Zanjani, LMFT.
PCC also welcomed five second year psychotherapy students. They are:
Douglas Browne, Emilia Chawa, Elena Hunanyan, MD, Kristen Leishman, PsyD, and Laura Ruaro, PsyD.
In June Eliane Hary, PhD, FIPA was elected PCC president, Susan Mitchell, PhD, FIPA secretary/treasurer and Jennifer Langham, PhD, FIPA serves as past president.
PCC Training and Supervising Analyst, John Lundgren, MD, FIPA, has written a chapter, “The Place Where Psychoanalysts Live: Introducing Group Relations to Psychoanalytic Institutes” in The Ecosystem of Group Relations: Culture, Gender and Identity in Groups and Organizations. On July 15, 2023, PCC held a joint conference with The New Center for Psychoanalysis. Israeli Training and Supervising Psychoanalyst, Merav Roth, PhD, FIPA presented her thought-provoking paper, “True Love as the Love of Truth.” It was followed by a lively and stimulating discussion.
On July 16, 2023, Merav Roth, PhD, FIPA held a Master Class with NCP and PCC candidates. PCC candidate Scott Turner, JD, MA presented to Dr. Roth.
On October 7th and October 8th PCC along with The Contemporary Freudian Society will hold a joint conference, Autistic States of Mind and Body Across the Human Life Cycle. Joshua Durban, FIPA, Maria Rhode, Shelley Rockwell, PhD, FIPA, will present papers moderated by Margaret Rustin. The conference will take place on zoom.
Persila Conversano, PsyD, FIPA has advanced to Senior Faculty. Deborah Bilder, PhD, FIPA and Susan Mitchell, PhD, FIPA have both advanced to Supervising and Training Analyst.
