Structural Change
This winter was very wet.
My home is at risk of slipping away.
I hire a structural engineer. He surveys the flooded, crumbling ground.
“We are going to need to build something much deeper and more solid
to withstand what’s coming with climate change” he says.
I tell him we are in similar professions.
